Birds

Clare Condon Irish Art: Golden Eagle, in flight. acrylics on Canvas.

Golden Eagle

Acrylic on canvas. My favourite bird of prey. The symbolic meaning of the Golden Eagle is that of a strong will and empowerment. Eagle people are seen as visionaries, those who are seekers and who are willing to push the limits of self-discovery.

Clare Condon Irish Art: Heron, Arcylics on Canvas.

A Heron in Blackrock Park, Co Dublin

Acrylic on canvas. The heron is an unstoppably determined, shrewd and patient bird. The heron animal symbolism helps us with the “in between” segments of our lives when we are at a crossroads. I find this painting very restful.

Clare Condon Irish Art: Peacock, close up, Acrylics on Canvas.

Peacock

Acrylic print on giclee. Inspired by a visit to the walled gardens in Marlay Park, Rathfarnham Co Dublin the peacock is a symbol of integrity and beauty we can achieve when we endeavour to show our true colours.

Botanical

Clare Condon Irish Art: Lisbon, street detail, Acrylic on Canvas

Lisbon Street Scene, Portugal

Watercolour and ink giclee print. Lisbon is one of my favourite cities in Europe with a charismatic and vibrant personality. It is one of the oldest cities in the world and the oldest in western Europe.

Clare Condon Irish Art: Mount Usher, Acrylics on canvas

Garden Scene

Acrylic on canvas giclee print. Inspired by many visits to these gardens in Co. Wicklow, where planting is enchanting. Every season brings a new array of colour and scent . These gardens have been cultivated using organic principles since 1980.

Seascapes

I am an Irish born artist from Dublin. I get most of my inspiration from our beautiful Irish landscapes and seascapes.

Clare Condon Irish Artist: Wave, Acrylic on Canvas

A Wave at Delphi

This acrylic giclee print was inspired by a visit to the beautiful Delphi resort in Connemara which is one of the most tranquil havens on the wild atlantic way.

Lighthouse, Acrylic on Canvas

Fanad Lighthouse

Acrylic on canvas. This is one of the key discovery points of the wild atlantic way. It is located at the top of Fanad Peninsula in Co Donegal and has been voted as one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world.

Ballynastocker Bay

Acrylic on Canvas. This has been voted as the second most beautiful beach in the world. Located in Portsalon in Co Donegal

Sliabhliag

Acrylic on Canvas. Located in South West Donegal this painting is a natural masterpiece of colour. This is a signature point along the wild atlantic way with breath taking views.

Landscapes

Clare Condon Irish Art: Irish Sunset, Acrylics on Canvas

Sunset on Lough Swilly, Co Donegal

Acrylic on canvas.Lough Swilly in Irish means “ Lake of Shadows “ or “ Lake of the Eyes “ . It is a glacial fiord lying between the Innishowen Peninsula and Fanad peninsula. In 1914 Lough Swilly became home to the entire British Grand Fleet.

Clare Condon Irish Art: Falls, Acrylics on Canvas

Iguazu Falls, Brazil

Acrylic on canvas. A visit here in 2006 brought me to one of the great natural wonders of the world. This is painted from a photograph taken by me while standing on the edge of the world.

Still Life

Silver Teapot

A Silver teapot brings a spirit of ceremony to the sharing of a cup of tea with someone, adding grace and beauty to the table and Irish teapots and among the most beautiful in the world.
